with information and findings you knowest not, about an interesting Author, Poet, Writer, and Literary Activist who
hails from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria. His name is Wole Soyinka. So saddle up, and enjoy your trip.
My own bias -
I originally became a fan of Wole Soyinka while growing up in England.
Wole Soyinka was occasionally invited to my college to speak and share some of his thought provoking poems with us, including answering
our imature questions whenever they feel at his feet.
As someone with family spread across West African and the English
continent who has witnessed the cancer of post colonialsim and the imagery of corrupt governments, I am always intrigued
by Soyinka's command of language, as well as his ability to use words unagressively to make corrupt leaders shake in
their corrupt boots corruptly.
